Biggest achievement On offshore sailing, completing the Vendée Globe twice / On kite, riding in so many countries around the world

Alan Roura is a gifted navigator from Geneva. He considers himself like a young man, free and happy living his dreams. In 2016, he is the youngest competitor of the legendary Vendée Globe, the solo and nonstop race around the world.
In 2019, he won the record for the crossing of the North Atlantic (5333 km) in monohull and solo.
He started kiteboarding during his around-the-world trip with his family, in 2007 in Margarita Island (Venezuela). For him, kiteboarding is part of his training for the vendée globe. He’s been passionate about kiteboarding for long time now, and be available to ride sometimes it’s just the perfect combination.
His challenge is to be on the start of the 3rd Vendée Globe in 2024, for winning.
