In 2019, he won the record for the crossing of the North Atlantic (5333 km) in monohull and solo.
He started kiteboarding during his around-the-world trip with his family, in 2007 in Margarita Island (Venezuela). For him, kiteboarding is part of his training for the vendée globe. His challenge is to be on the start of the 3rd Vendée Globe in 2024, for winning.
