MATERIAL REPLACEMENTBOOM V2
In recent times, we requested the World Sailing Committee, as well as the IKA-Formula Kite technical committee, to approve the substitution of a specific material in our Boom V2. More specifically, due to some delivery problems from our factory, we requested that the orange Ratiopart ALUCTLINE 2.0mm was replaced with black PERLON monofilament 2.0mm. Our Boom V2 Kites manufactured throughout 2022 are covered by this approval.
This modification is not improving our kites’ performances. It is simply a material substitution due to some delivery issues. The new rods are a little bit stiffer, but this is not something that will affect our Boom V2’s speed.
